dato che molti di voi non amano parigi e siccome non ho foto di bisuschio, devo purtroppo sterzare verso la tecnologia! è arrivato ieri nei negozi l'F480 di samsung, produttore attivissimo in questo periodo, con diversi telefoni molto interessanti per le funzioni e le caratteristiche tecniche.
oggi vi tocca, purtroppo, perdonate ma il tecnologico che è in me prende il sopravvento!
però non potete invitarmi a nozze così!!!!
ieri mi si chiedeva un parere sul nokia N70 e io come faccio a tirarmi indietro?!?
allora, capisco la questione prezzo, ma l'N70 a mio parere è una schifezza inenarrabile: brutto, plasticoso, lento e soprattutto carico di difetti. chiedi a quelli che non l'hanno ancora aggiornato (ma cosa aspettano?!?) e che spesso risultano irraggiungibili quando il telefono in realtà pare collegato alla rete.
oppure chiedi a coloro che hanno la versione che squilla quando arriva la prima telefonata, ma da quella successiva poi diventa muta.
non so a quanto lo vendano dove l'hai visto; ti consiglierei però un piccolo sforzo per optare invece per il Nokia 6120 classic, uscito da poco e commercializzato da vodafone e tre. piccolissimo, super leggero, ha una versione software successiva a quella dell'N70 e va come un razzo. pesa la metà, ha una dimensione quasi dimezzata e la batteria dura di più.
in più è hsdpa, quindi se per qualche strana ragione lo colleghi al pc per navigare hai la velocità dell'adsl sul telefonino.
un'alternativa, ma so che qui si va incontro alle guerre di religione, è il samsung Z630, che è un ottimo terminale e oggi viene praticamente svenduto dai negozi tim, appena uscito costava 500 euro, adesso lo trovi a 200. ma il terminale è lo stesso. un po' plasticoso, ma comunque molto leggero e ultratascabile. ti deve piacere il software samsung, che secondo me è molto semplice e funzionale ma poco promozionato. non so perchè molti pensano sia difficile da usare...
attenzione, infine, allo Z6 di motorola. non so quanto costi oggi, ma tanto i telefoni di motorola escono alti e poi crollano. lo z6 è un vero gioiello, con la sua piattaforma linux che è di velocità pazzesca. ma forse è un po' fuori mercato per il prezzo, comparato all'N70.

it's been awhile since I last wrote on vox and now I'm coming back to write something on my new i600, the windows mobile proposal from samsung.
I like the form factor, what I hate is the vodafone branding and customization. once again vodafone has ruined a product! I am looking forward to selling this device and buyng an "unbranded" unit!
the screen is quite strange. I think samsung is the first producer to release a windows mobile device equipped with 320x240 screen.
it works fine, even if it's very small, compared to usual sceens.
the keyboard is good, but the htc s620 is much much better. no comparison between the two devices.this keyboard is much less "user friendly".
as you can see, the good thing is that when you are in numeric mode, you have a large space to click, as you can dial "e" or "r" for "1". well, I think it's easy to understand the concept from the picture!
with this weel you can control and select the scrolling menu if you choose the samsung home screen.
if you make a long press of the control button, you can activate an application of your choice. I have placed the task manager, for example. next to the control wheel, you have the memory card slot. in my case, it's a 2gb and it works fine!
and here's the opposite side! the volume control and the earphone/charge plug.
here's the 1.3 mp main camera. not that much, in this period, but the quality is good anyway.
there's a face camera as well, for video calls. quality is average.
and that's all! I like this object! it's an hsdpa very thin device, so it's very useful on the move. the average speed of my network is light years distant from what they say, but sooner or later, we'll start surfing the web with high speed on the go as well. at this time you are far away from the 1.8 mbps they promise!
I think samsung did a good job, even if the keyboard and the camera could be much better. if camera is not so relevant for this kind of products, keyboard is really very important. The i600 is better than i320, but not enough to beat the S620 from htc.
another good aspect is the software equipment, with the task manager on board, the rss reader (not very nice really...), smartfind (a search software) and picsel viewer for the office files.
but the best thing is this amazing homescreen!!!
So, the final vote is 7+! but please avoid the horrible vodafone version!!!
I've just got a new samsung.
with some delay, to be honest, as this phone was released weeks ago.
the point is that at the beginning I was not attracted by this object.
it was only after using it that I was really attracted by this new model.
it has any feature you would expect from a phone.
first of all it's a 3g hsdpa phone, that means you have top speed at your disposal. and that feature is placed into a phone with a wonderful keyboard.
I found quite strange the choice to move the 0, * and # to the right side of the keyboard.
but if you just make some practice you can get used very quickly!
what I don't like at all, is the central "joystick", which is not confortable and has a strange mechanism; I wouldn't be surprised if I should loose the "button" in a pocket.
there's a usual micro sd expansion. I placed 1gb card and it works fine.
the usb/earphone connector has been placed under the phone, which is quite different from the ultra edition phones. But I think that's to support the swivel opening mechanism.

and here's big brother coming to the screen. sorry for the mirror image of my camera... what I found impressive in this phone is that you have a picture in picture PIP option on the phone screen. you can see two channels at the same time. you can't understand what you are watching but it's fun to show your friends how it works!
and of course, there a camera. the phone is built to be used as a real camera.
and that's it.
I've got something new yesterday that I really like.
this is a kind of 3g evolution of the well know D900. And this phone is even better than 3g, as it's equipped with HSDPA connection, so you can surf the web at a speed that could get to 3.6 mbps.
the phone is one the ultra serie and the size is really incredible.
here you see the z630 compared to sony ericsson W850. it's half the size of the sony ericsson!!! But unfortunately I was not able to connect this phone to a stereo bt headset.
the battery is apparently very good. I've been using the phone for a couple of days now and it's still at the "second bar" of the charge indicator.
I don't think z630 competes with w850, as they are very different phones, but sony ericsson was the only I had on the desk.
a new simple feature on the z630 is in the call list. if you have a picture attached to your contact, the image appears in the call list as well.
unfortunately, if you sync the phone with outlook, you can't load the pictures and you have to add them once again.
